I so wish

Wishing the world was differnent
I so wish

I so wish

I so wish we live in a world where walking out the door first wasn’t more important than holding the door for the person behind you.

I so wish we lived a world where slowing down to let traffic merge and being a little late to work was ok, instead of flipping someone off.

I so wish we lived in a world where our children didn’t know what entitlement felt like, but instead knew hard work causes you to sweat sometimes physically and mentally.

I so wish we lived in world where being the best wasn’t taking first place, but instead doing the best of your abilities and never winning was acceptable.

I so wish we lived in a world where failure wasn’t a negative characteristic, but rather a stepping stone in life for you to try……………… just one more time.

I so wish we lived in a world where we purchase something to eat for those hungry on the side of the road and not drive by and thinking “that’s just not my problem”.

I so wish lived in a world where we reached in our pockets for change when someone comes up short instead of putting our heads down and looking the other way.

I so wish we lived in a world where we checked on our neighbors when we arrive home, and didn’t think about what’s for dinner and how much laundry there is to do.

I so wish we lived in a world where the “all about me” was “all about you” and more “about Us”.

I so wish we lived in a world where disease, hunger and loneliness were non-existent and health, friendship, and happiness filled our lives to the top.

I so wish we lived in a world where we didn’t have to run for our lives, prove our worth, or fight for our existence, but rather walk with each other, except our differences, and never see war again.

I so wish we lived in a world that threw hugs with their arms instead of punches with their fists, that spewed words of encouragement instead of words of belittlement, that used sight for understanding instead of seeing what they think should be judged.

Oh God how I wish we lived in a world where LOVE was always the answer and hatred was never an option, but I can’t wish it away can I?

I can only pray it away with you.  I can only forgive it away with you.  I can only LOVE it away with you God.  Please help our world and I so wish you will be patient with us all.

Luv, luv,

Julie
