Julie Metzger of Cincinnati, OH is the Owner/Founder of Returning the Gift, has over 20+ years of Information Technology experience and has 12+ years of church & community involvement. With this professional experience she is working on her mission to make a difference through Faith, Hope, Courage, Strength, Inspiration and most of all Love! She has an amazing past and uses that experience to bring people together in a moment of change.
“As a faith filled Christian it has become my mission to serve God to the best of my abilities. This is why I created “Returning the Gift”. Jesus gave his life on the cross for us and now it is my turn, our turn, to return the gift through Faith, Hope, Courage, Strength, Inspiration and most of all LOVE!”
Julie likes to visit local area churches and volunteer in unexpected places. She believes in “Showing up and being Present”. She wants to help others find a place to grow their faith as “Our faith must be our own”. Julie loves to share stories of how Social Networking, Showing up & Being Present, Forgiving, Faith & Giving has changed her life.
Julie is also a recent graduate from The College of Mount St. Joseph. Graduating with a Religious Studies degree and Information Systems Minor.
The 2013 Harrington Award Recipient. The Harrington Leadership Award is presented to an adult graduating senior who has demonstrated consistent outstanding leadership in campus and/or community activities.
The 2012 Sister Elizabeth Cashman Service Award Recipient. Given to a student who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to the mission of the College through involvement in and initiation of service. Special consideration to applicants involved in Service Learning, Campus Ministry and other College or College club sponsored events.
